In-House IT Technician
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive In-House IT Technician to support the organisation’s day-to-day technology operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the organisation’s IT systems, ensuring seamless operations and prompt technical support for all users.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, backups, and security checks.
- Provide timely technical support and assistance to staff, both on-site and remotely where required.
- Monitor and manage day-to-day computer and IT activities within the organisation.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT issues, solutions, and system configurations.
- Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related IT certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field (an added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, and office productivity software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
